Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was small but clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was outstanding!
Smoke alarm was chirping at 3am. Front desk offered no resolution. Room smelled bad. Breakfast area was disgusting.
Clean, good service - pleasantly greeted (with a follow up call to the room) and exit, quiet, good assortment at breakfast. I would have given a 5 star but my bed feeling nice and soft dipped in the middle and I awoke to an aching back. Now to their defence I did not call the front desk to give them a chance to change rooms and my back was a bit achy from the car ride so wether a more supportive mattress would have made a difference, I just feel it may have.
Our weekend getaway turned into, people arguing and yelling in the hallways and lobby. Police cars in the front entrance along with crowds of people outside. I don’t know the actual details except we couldn’t get any rest. I was afraid to come out of my room because I didn’t k ow what was gonna happen. I am very dissatisfied with all this confusion. I’ve never been afraid to come out of my hotel and any place I’ve stayed.
My daughter and I had a very nice stay. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. I didn't have my usual back discomfort when I got up in the mornings. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was awesome. The staff each and everyone we dealt with were very professional, courteous and friendly. One word of advice pay attention to signs on the reception desk that explain hotel policy for using your debit/charge cards. They said nothing and I didn't notice the signs because it was late and I was tired when we arrived. I got a rude awakening when I returned home and found my bank account was overdrawn due to their policy. However, now that I'm aware of their policy, I will stay at Fairfield again because I enjoyed my stay very much.
