We always have an outstanding experience when we stay at The Holiday Inn Express in Emporia, Virginia. The staff is great, clean rooms, great & comfortable beds, & a really great breakfast in the morning on site before we hit the road. Plan to return again.
Typical Holiday Inn Express, a little less modern than some but still a cozy place with amazing rooms and beds. The breakfast is impressive and I left very full! I would deffinitly stay here again.
On October 17th, 2017 my friends and I, on a trip to the South, made a stop over in Emporia VA. We found a decent rate at the Holiday Inn Express so we booked 2 rooms. During Checkin, Syed who works at the front desk could not have been more kind and knowledgable. He was a pleasure to talk to and gave us advice on food establishments, etc. Big shout out to Syed. We departed the following morning and the woman at the desk was quite nice and friendly too. AND...at breakfast, the woman in the breakfast room was extremely nice and helpful in managing some machines. Thank you to your staff. They made our trip all the more pleasant.
The room was clean and comfortable. Would have been better if someone had made the bed on the pullout couch. Breakfast was fine.
Nice hotel. Right off the highway, and the breakfast is good. Kind of outdated looking compared to most Holiday Inns I've been to lately, but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice staff. Would stay again if I was in the area.
